Accelerators with Built-in Antiflooding Device
These combine the operating characteristics of an accelerator and antiflooding device in a single mechanical unit. When installed on a dry pipe valve, they cause the valve to trip more quickly and also to exclude foreign particles from entering the accelerator mechanism.
Because both the accelerator and antiflooding feature are combined in a single unit, no separate antiflooding device is required. Unless otherwise noted in the listing, these accelerators have 175 psi (1205 kPa) rated working pressure.
